Role Overview
As a UI/UX Design Intern / Associate, you will support the end-to-end design process—from research and wireframing to prototyping and usability testing.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, simplify complex workflows, and deliver exceptional digital experiences.
This role is perfect for candidates who enjoy solving design challenges, experimenting with ideas, and creating products that users love.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability studies.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to design systems, component libraries, and style guides.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility and responsive design standards.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, AI interfaces, and UX best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in UI/UX design, including internships, freelance work, academic projects, or personal portfolios.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and information architecture.
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles.
- Strong visual design, typography, and layout skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A portfolio showcasing design projects, case studies, or prototypes.
Preferred Skills
Experience with any of the following is an added advantage:
- Design systems and component libraries
- User research and usability testing
- HTML, CSS, and front-end fundamentals
- AI design tools and prompt-based workflows
- Interaction design and micro-interactions
